Heidi Hock Kaim

Soprano

      

Heidi Hock Kaim graduated from the University of Texas where she studied voice and earned a degree in Music Education.  While at the university she sang with the Early Music Ensemble, directed by Daniel Johnson.  Currently, in addition to singing with Texas Early Music Project, Heidi studies Byzantine chant and is an assistant chanter at Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church and she co-directs the youth choir. Heidi worked at the 2006 and 2007 Amherst Early Music Workshop Festivals as the assistant housing director with Daniel Johnson.  Heidi teaches music to over 430 students at Cedar Creek Elementary School and also directs the school’s Orff ensemble and choir. She enjoys introducing her students to exciting and enriching musical experiences.
