[img: Kathlene] After graduating from UT with a degree in Music Education, Kathlene moved to New York where she was fortunate to sing with such noted ensembles as the New York Philharmonic, London Sinfonietta, and the Vienna Philharmonic. She has sung under the batons of Lorin Maazel, Kurt Masur, James Levine, Zubin Mehta, Pierre Boulez, Andre Previn, Sir Colin Davis, and Sir John Eliot Gardiner. She recently made her solo debut at Avery Fisher Hall with the American Symphony Orchestra in Listz's Dante's Inferno and recorded with them Strauss' Die aegyptische Helena as Hermione opposite Deborah Voigt's Helen. Although she still frequently returns to NYC to perform, she now resides in Austin where she teaches music at St. Andrew's Episcopal School, and sings with such noted ensembles as TEMP and the nationally recognized group Conspirare.
