The performances of Alcina last weekend thrilled us. My wife and I both enjoyed the first performance so much we very much wanted to go again Sunday. We didn't have a sitter so only one of us got there-- and found it even better. Many friends we had phoned in excitement after the first performance took our advice and went Sunday, and all were grateful for the tip. Thank you all for these wonderfully dramatic and touching performances, which were among the very best opera performances either of us has ever seen.
