Swete was the Songe
An Early Music Christmas in Northern Europe & the British Isles
The mystery and intangible essence of Christmas has been celebrated
in song across the centuries. We honor the season with a sumptuous
and diverse feast of Christmas music from the cultures and the composers
who helped shape many of our holiday traditions! We continue this creative
musical practice with our own style, in our own musical language,
inspired by those who came before.
Recorded live December 11, 2010 and December 10 & 11, 2011
at First English Lutheran Church & First Presbyterian Church, Austin, TX.
Jay Norwood, engineer.
