Jayda Maret
Jayda Maret, soprano
Jayda Maret is a soprano from Round Rock, Texas. She earned her BM in Vocal Performance from the University of North Texas in 2022. During her time at UNT, she sang with the Women’s Chorus, Kalandra, and the University Singers, and performed in the choruses of Regina (2020), Orfeo ed Euridice (2021), and The Bartered Bride (2021) with UNT Opera.
Since graduation, Jayda has performed with Austin Scottish Rite Theatre, participated in the Central Program and the Choral Workshop at the Amherst Early Music Festival, and been a featured soloist in the OPERA San Antonio/Classical Music Institute Summer Voice Program. Her first concert with the Texas Early Music Project was Medieval Pilgrimage in Iberia in 2023.
